Our History
Established decades ago, AICO has grown from a small grassroots initiative into a cornerstone of the Iranian community in Australia. From our humble beginnings, we have expanded our services and reach, adapting to the changing needs of our community while staying true to our founding principles.
1980s
AIC was founded by a group of dedicated Iranian Australians who saw the need for a unified community voice.
1990s
Expanded our services to include social support and cultural programs, establishing our first community center.
2000s
Gained recognition as the peak body representing the Iranian community in Australia, forging strong partnerships with government and non-government organizations.
Today
AIC continues to grow, with a focus on providing comprehensive services and fostering a strong, cohesive community.
