Announcement from Australian Iranian Community Organization

Israeil Iran War

With deep sorrow, we are witnessing the outbreak of military conflict between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the State of Israel. These hostilities have already claimed the lives of many innocent people in both countries and have caused profound concern among the Iranian community living in Australia.

It is clear that in these circumstances, many of our fellow Iranians in Australia are worried about their families, friends, and loved ones in Iran. These concerns—especially in regard to the escalation of conflict, attacks on nuclear facilities, and the risks associated with radioactive leaks—are very serious and completely understandable.

In such times, maintaining mental health is of utmost importance. We invite you to:

  • Stay connected with your family, friends, and loved ones during this period.

  • Avoid isolation and participate in group gatherings and community events.

  • If you are experiencing anxiety, distress, or psychological pressure, please reach out to us.

The Australian Iranian Community Organization is ready to connect you with volunteer Iranian psychotherapists who offer free psychological counselling. These services are provided with full respect for your privacy and confidentiality.

With hope for the swift end of this military crisis in our homeland,
And with the wish that no war ever begins,

Australian Iranian Community Organization
